As most of you know, Moonshade hasn't been doing very well in Tunnelclan. She's gotten in a terrible fight with her leader, and she's on to something. Anyway, here's a sample of my idea!
It was late at night. Not a cat was awake, or at least that's what Moonshade thought. The fae wasn't tired anymore for some odd reason, so she quietly sat up and creeped out of the Warrior's den. As she began running towards the camp entrance to take a quick walk, she was shocked to see Fadingstar padding towards the entrance. "That stupid cat has been leaving like this almost every morning.." Moonshade growled, kneading the grass with her claws. She'd seen him countless times before. "I know he's up to something and he doesn't want anybody to know, but I know. I know he's doing something he knows isn't right.." She hissed, slowly creeping forwards. Fadingstar, with a flick of his tail, shot through the camp entrance, heading in the direction of the Ridgeclan border. But, Moonshade was already aware what he was up to. "I knew it! I knew Fadingstar was going to see Duskstar for all this time! That traitor! I should chase him down and give him a good claw to the eyes!" She hissed as she ran, shooting across the border after Fadingstar. He hadn't realized he was being followed yet, but Moonshade would certainly let him know soon. Fadingstar took an immidiate right, then disappeared through a bramble thicket. The Deputy quietly peeked through the hole, and almost gasped at what she saw. Duskstar and Fadingstar were sitting in a makeshift nest they'd made with kittens! Moonshade's ears burned with furry. But she felt something else. Jealousy. She'd always been jealous of Fadingstar and Duskstar. She knew they liked each other. She knew this would one day happen. The Deputy slowly backed away from the bramble thicket, staring at it as if her life was flashing before her eyes. She heard a rustling coming from the entrance, so she whipped around and began to run, but with the crazy way she was running would've probably given her away. She could hear Fadingstar hot on her trail, but she kept running. The leader eventually tackled her, growling. "What're you doing here, who ar-" But Fadingstar stopped, realizing who it was. Moonshade barred her teeth, then wrenched her neck around just to sink her fangs into her leader's leg. Fadingstar jerked backwards with a hiss. "What was that for!?" He snarled, lashing her tail. "You dirty rotten traitor.." She growled, lashing her tail. "I know you were up to something.." She hissed, sinking her claws into the grass. Fadingstar just stood there, staring at her. "I can't believe you. Your just a greedy little mouseheart is what you are.." She hissed, eyes welling with tears. "You've betrayed me, and ALL of your clan.." Moonshade nodded, slowly turning around. "W-wait! Moonshade, y-you don't understand!" Fadingstar called after her, slowly padding forward. "Oh, I understand alright! That your a traitor!" She called over her shoulder. Fadingstar just stared after Moonshade as she slowly padded off. He'd ruined his 'friendship' with Moonshade, his clan's reputation was at stake, and now, that he realized it, Moonshade would never talk to him again. "What have I done.." Fadingstar muttered, tail drooping.
